Andy Chae (he/his/him) is the Director of Graduate Student Life, leading the efforts to maintain, cultivate and promote a healthy, vibrant graduate student community and student leaders. Andy serves as the advisor to the Engineering Graduate Student Council (EGSC) and other student-led organizations. He is a strong student advocate with experience in academic advising, admissions, financial aid, student leadership, student activities, and residence life.
Andy earned his Bachelor of Music and Master of Education degrees from Boston University. He is currently a Ph.D. student in NYU Steinhardt’s Sociology of Education program where his research focuses on the experiences of Asian American faculty, administrators, and students at U.S. institutions of higher education.
