Columbia and National Technical University of Athens to Offer Dual Degrees in Engineering and Applied Science
Joint program will start in fall 2022

Columbia University Provost Mary C. Boyce and Rector of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) Andres G. Boudouvis recently signed an agreement to offer dual-degree programs.
Graduates from these programs will earn two degrees: an integrated Master diploma in various disciplines from NTUA and a Master of Science degree in various engineering and applied science disciplines from Columbia Engineering.
“We’re very excited about this partnership,” said Shih-Fu Chang, interim dean of Columbia Engineering. “It will attract high-quality students, increase their global mobility, and expand the exchange of expertise between two top international universities.”
For students starting enrollment at NTUA, the programs are expected to take 10 semesters for completion, including eight semesters at NTUA and two semesters at Columbia.
